Effective on July 1, a new Illinois law (HB 3882) allows anyone who has been eligible for a Temporary Visitor Driver’s License (TVDLs) to obtain a standard driver’s license and state ID. This is a big win for AAFS, and the immigrant community at large in Illinois. We are proud to have helped get the legislation passed in 2023.
