Compensation
$29.00–$35.00 per hour, depending on qualifications, experience, certifications, leadership experience, and language proficiency.
This position may be supported through grant funding. Continued employment is contingent upon funding availability.

Position Summary
Arab American Family Services (AAFS) is seeking a Partner Abuse Intervention Program (PAIP) Coordinator to coordinate and support the operations of the agency’s Illinois State Protocol-Approved Partner Abuse Intervention Program.
The PAIP Coordinator provides leadership for program operations, compliance, quality assurance, participant services, community partnerships, and continuous program improvement. The position supports victim safety and participant accountability while ensuring compliance with Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS) requirements and Title 89 Illinois Administrative Code, Part 501.
This role serves as the primary liaison to courts, probation departments, referral agencies, and community partners while helping ensure program integrity, consistency, and effectiveness.
Some evening and weekend hours are required.
Key Responsibilities
Program Coordination
Coordinate implementation of PAIP services in accordance with Illinois PAIP standards.
Oversee participant intake, orientation, assessment, enrollment, and program participation processes.
Monitor attendance, participant engagement, and program completion requirements.
Support facilitators and ensure fidelity to approved PAIP curriculum and intervention standards.
Assist with participant referrals and service coordination when additional needs are identified.
Quality Assurance and Compliance
Monitor program operations for compliance with IDHS requirements, agency policies, and grant standards.
Review documentation, participant records, and reports for completeness and accuracy.
Assist with audits, monitoring reviews, program evaluations, and reporting requirements.
Maintain program data and performance tracking systems.
Community Collaboration
Serve as liaison to courts, probation officers, attorneys, and referral agencies.
Collaborate with domestic violence victim services staff to support victim safety efforts.
Participate in coordinated community response initiatives, trainings, and professional networks.
Support outreach and education efforts related to domestic violence intervention and prevention.
Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in social work, Psychology, Counseling, Criminal Justice, Human Services, or a related field required.
Master’s degree preferred.
Candidates without a bachelor’s degree may qualify with a high school diploma or equivalent and at least five (5) years of relevant experience in domestic violence services, behavioral intervention, counseling, criminal justice, social service, or group facilitation.
Minimum two years of experience in domestic violence services, behavioral intervention, counseling, criminal justice, group facilitation, or related human services work preferred.
Experience coordinating programs, compliance activities, quality assurance, or community partnerships preferred.
Training Requirements
The successful candidate must meet Illinois PAIP training requirements, including:
Completion of a 40-hour Domestic Violence Training consistent with Illinois standards.
Completion of a 20-hour Illinois Department of Human Services-approved Partner Abuse Intervention Program (PAIP) training.
Ongoing annual continuing education requirements as required by Illinois PAIP standards.
Training may be completed post-hire in accordance with Illinois PAIP requirements and agency expectations.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of domestic violence dynamics, accountability-based intervention, and victim safety practices.
Experience working with courts, probation departments, and community partners.
Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Arabic language proficiency strongly preferred.
Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
Additional Requirements
Ability to work some evening and weekend hours.
Reliable transportation for local travel.
Successful completion of required background checks.
Authorization to work in the United States.
